The closing credits of Another World The closing credits usually started with the writers, beginning with Head Writer and going down from there, dictated by tenure. The director of the episode was usually credited next, followed by the executive producer, producers and associate producers. Then the cast would be credited in order according to tenure. In the 1970s, it was decided by then-executive producer Paul Rauch that Victoria Wyndham, Douglass Watson, and Constance Ford, in that order, be credited before the rest of the cast. By the mid-1990s, this wasn't a problem anymore, as Watson and Ford had since died, and Wyndham had, by then, become the longest-serving cast member on the show anyway. (references)

These credits, currently 5.0 percent of the benefit (for workers who attain age65 in 1996-1997), take account of benefits foregone by people who continue to work or otherwise delay their receipt of worker's benefits past normal retirement age. The delayed retirement will gradually rise from the current 5.0percent per year to 8percent per year for workers who reach age 66 in and after 2009. (references)
Military service wage credits Health Credits recognizing that military personnel receive other cash payments and wages in kind (such as food and shelter) in addition to their basic pay. Noncontributory wage credits of $160 are provided for each month of active military service from September 16, 1940 through December 31, 1956. For years after 1956, the basic pay of military personnel is covered under the Social Security program on a contributory basis. In addition to contributory credits for basic pay, noncontributory wage credits of $300 are granted for each calendar quarter in which a person receives pay for military service from January 1957 through December 1977. Deemed wage credits of $100 are granted for each $300 of military wages in years after 1977. (The maximum credits allowed in any calendar year are $1,200.) See also "Quinquennial military service determinations and adjustments." (references)
Noncontributory or deemed wage credits Health Wages and wages in kind that were not subject to the HI tax but are deemed as having been. Deemed wage credits exist for the purposes of (1) determining HI program eligibility for individuals who might not be eligible for HI coverage without payment of a premium were it not for the deemed wage credits; and (2) calculating reimbursement due the HI trust fund from the general fund of the Treasury. The first purpose applies in the case of providing coverage to persons during the transitional periods when the HI program began and when it was expanded to cover federal employees; both purposes apply in the cases of military service wage credits (see "Military service wage credits" and "Quinquennial military service determinations and adjustments") and deemed wage credits granted for the internment of persons of Japanese ancestry during World War II. The amount of the credits is the Forest Service's estimate of construction costs, and the credits can be used to pay for timber harvested. Occasionally, when stumpage prices are at or near the base rates, some or all of the credits cannot be used, and are then termed ineffective road credits. The authority to grant credits was terminated in the FY1999 appropriations act (P.L. 105-277, October 21, 1998). (references)
Tax credits Energy Credits established by the federal and state government to assist the development of the alternative energy industry. Beginning in 1976, California had a solar tax credit. From 1978 to 1985, both California and the federal government offered tax credits for alternative energy equipment. The state provided a 55 percent tax credit on solar, wind, geothermal and biomass for residential applications. However, the residential tax credits were reduced by applicable federal credits. State commercial tax credits for alternative energy systems in commercial and industrial sectors ranged from 10-15 percent. During this same time, the federal government offered a 40 percent tax credit on residential applications and a 10-15 percent credit on commercial and industrial applications. California in 1990 instituted a new 10 percent tax credit for commercial solar systems in excess of 30 watts of electricity per device. This credit expired December 31, 1993. (references)
