Dycusburg is a city located in Crittenden County, Kentucky. As of the 2000 census, the city had a total population of 39.

Geography


Dycusburg is located at 37°9'36" North, 88°11'6" West (37.160017, -88.184952)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the city has a total area of 0.1 km² (0.0 mi²). 0.1 km² (0.0 mi²) of it is land and none of it is covered by water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 39 people, 18 households, and 10 families residing in the city. The population density is 376.4/km² (889.7/mi²). There are 20 housing units at an average density of 193.1/km² (456.3/mi²). The racial makeup of the city is 97.44% White, 0.00% African American, 0.00% Native American, 0.00% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.00% from other races, and 2.56% from two or more races. 0.00% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. The average household size is 2.17 and the average family size is 3.00. In the city the population is spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 7.7% from 18 to 24, 20.5% from 25 to 44, 25.6% from 45 to 64, and 25.6% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 46 years. For every 100 females there are 129.4 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 121.4 males. The median income for a household in the city is $45,208, and the median income for a family is $46,250. Males have a median income of $46,250 versus $0 for females. The per capita income for the city is $15,253. 0.0% of the population and 0.0% of families are below the poverty line.
