Daniels is a town located in Raleigh County, West Virginia. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 1,846.

Geography


Daniels is located at 37°44'23" North, 81°7'29" West (37.739752, -81.124609)1. According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 12.1 km² (4.7 mi²). 12.1 km² (4.7 mi²) of it is land and none of the area is covered with water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 1,846 people, 818 households, and 525 families residing in the town. The population density is 152.6/km² (395.0/mi²). There are 913 housing units at an average density of 75.5/km² (195.4/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.72% White, 1.08% African American, 0.22% Native American, 0.60% Asian, 0.00% Pacific Islander, 0.16% from other races, and 0.22% from two or more races. 0.43% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 818 households out of which 23.7% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 53.3% are married couples living together, 8.3% have a female householder with no husband present, and 35.7% are non-families. 32.4% of all households are made up of individuals and 19.6% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.17 and the average family size is 2.70. In the town the population is spread out with 18.9% under the age of 18, 7.5% from 18 to 24, 25.4% from 25 to 44, 23.6% from 45 to 64, and 24.7% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 43 years. For every 100 females there are 82.6 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 76.4 males. The median income for a household in the town is $27,955, and the median income for a family is $40,125. Males have a median income of $29,519 versus $20,000 for females. The per capita income for the town is $22,266. 12.4% of the population and 11.6% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 7.9% are under the age of 18 and 9.7% are 65 or older.

Daniels is a town located in Burnett County, Wisconsin. As of the 2000 census, the town had a total population of 665.

Geography


According to the United States Census Bureau, the town has a total area of 92.7 km² (35.8 mi²). 87.3 km² (33.7 mi²) of it is land and 5.4 km² (2.1 mi²) of it is water. The total area is 5.84% water.

Demographics


As of the census of 2000, there are 665 people, 280 households, and 204 families residing in the town. The population density is 7.6/km² (19.7/mi²). There are 429 housing units at an average density of 4.9/km² (12.7/mi²). The racial makeup of the town is 97.44% White, 0.00% African American, 0.30% Native American, 0.30% Asian, 0.15% Pacific Islander, 0.45% from other races, and 1.35% from two or more races. 0.45% of the population are Hispanic or Latino of any race. There are 280 households out of which 24.3% have children under the age of 18 living with them, 63.6% are married couples living together, 5.0% have a female householder with no husband present, and 26.8% are non-families. 23.6% of all households are made up of individuals and 11.4% have someone living alone who is 65 years of age or older. The average household size is 2.38 and the average family size is 2.80. In the town the population is spread out with 20.5% under the age of 18, 5.3% from 18 to 24, 24.8% from 25 to 44, 29.3% from 45 to 64, and 20.2% who are 65 years of age or older. The median age is 45 years. For every 100 females there are 105.2 males. For every 100 females age 18 and over, there are 104.2 males. The median income for a household in the town is $36,597, and the median income for a family is $46,917. Males have a median income of $33,681 versus $25,385 for females. The per capita income for the town is $19,081. 8.5% of the population and 7.0% of families are below the poverty line. Out of the total people living in poverty, 8.3% are under the age of 18 and 15.0% are 65 or older.
