CDNAS

Specialty Definition: CDNA

(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)

cDNA is short for coding DNA. It is the DNA sequence matching the spliced mRNA, that is, the exons of an eukaryotic gene. In prokaryotes, the cDNA matches the primary mRNA transcript, as there are no exons or introns.
