Bytów ((Pomeranian/Kashubian: Betowo, Polish: Bytów; German: Buetow), is a town in Middle Pomerania region, north-western Poland with some 15,000 inhabitants.

It is also the capital of Bytow County in Pomeranian Voivodship since 1999, previously in Slupsk Voivodship (1975-1998).

1960: 8.600 inhabitants
1970: 10.700 inhabitants
1975: 12.500 inhabitants
1980: 13.300 inhabitants
