B-6 AVENUE-EXPRESS

Specialty Definition: B-6 Avenue-Express

(From Wikipedia, the free Encyclopedia)

The B-6 Avenue Express is a line on the New York Subway. It runs along with the D-6 Avenue Express, but the B is local and does not run weekends. The B currently ends at 34 Street-Herald Square in midtown Manhattan because of work on the Manhattan Bridge. Service to Coney Island, Brooklyn will resume in 2004. The W-Broadway Express will replace B service in Brooklyn until then.

The B makes the same stops as the D in the Bronx and the C in Manhattan.
